Complete set-up, service, and clean-up for catered functions in the Purdue Memorial Union and across campus. We cater for a variety of events ranging from wedding receptions to football players breakfasts to conferences and fundraisers. Schedule varies weekly.
Dining services duties typically include working with and serving food, washing dishes, re-stocking dishware, refilling beverage machines, wiping tables and serveries, as well as customer service, running a cash register, serving customers, Shifts and hours vary.
Student service worker positions typically include outside grounds cleanup, spot cleaning of hallways, bathrooms, stairwells, restocking bathroom supplies, etc. Days and hours of work are typically Saturday and Sunday mornings with some halls having available hours during the week.
Clerical worker duties include but are not limited to office work which includes assisting customers who approach the main hall desk, answering telephone calls and filing. Hours are primarily during the evenings and weekends and vary from 5-20 hours per week. Please apply for Student Special Collections Associate with this application.
